We are glad you decided to visit our online site. You will find much information pertaining to the ministries of our church and we welcome you to join us in worship on Sunday @ 10am. Hurricane Updates(s):
NEW - Update: Thursday, September 4 @ 5:30pm. - All power and phones are working at the church. Please join us Sunday as we resume our regular Sunday morning schedule. ------------------------------- Wednesday, September 3 @ 3pm. - The power to the church has been restored however the phone lines still remain down. Please check back for Sunday service schedule. ------------------------------- Tuesday, September 2 @ 6p.m. - St. Tammany parish will begin re-entry at 6 a.m. Wednesday. Please check wwl.com or wwltv.com for the news release. Check back later for an update on the power situation at the church. ------------------------------- Tuesday, September 2 @ 3:30pm. - NOTICE: All regularly scheduled Wed. evening activities for September 3 are cancelled. If you have evacuated outside of the parish, please do not attempt to return until parish officials "reopen" the parish to allow residents to return. - Presently, almost all of Slidell is still without power and the city's sewer system is down. So please listen to WWL or watch wwl.com or wwltv.com for an official announcement from city or parish officials with re-entry instructions. - Watch here for an update later in the week about a possibly revised schedule for Sunday, September 7. - Damage Update: God is good! Early reports indicate that the church received no water, and very limited wind damage. - Church offices will remain closed until power is restored and parish officials open the parish for re-entry. - FBCS and CDC will remain closed until Monday. -------------------------------- Aug 27 @ 3pm. - NOTICE: During the hurricane season our church will make every effort to remain open for our members and our community. However, in the unlikely event that our parish leaders call for an evacuation of the greater Slidell area, whether voluntary or mandatory, our church will at that time cancel immediately scheduled activities in order to allow any of our people who wish to evacuate to do so. When it is declared safe to return, we will be among the first to restore services. Should you need assistance in evacuating please call the church office at 643-3456.

:: Festival of Hope - City-Wide Crusade

Oct. 5-8, 2008 - Harbor Center - Slidell - Prayer Chain

In anticipation of and preparation for our "Festival of Hope" city-wide crusade, we are asking for a commitment on your part of just 15 minutes each day between now and the crusade to pray for our city and the impact this event will have on lives.

To sign up for a time slot, the chart will be available in the foyer after each week's worship service or you can call Carolyn in the church office during the week.
